Chess in-person in Paris La Russian Chess School est aujourd’hui une école en ligne, mais elle est née d’une véritable tradition de cours et de stages en présentiel.

C’est pourquoi, chaque fois que Dina Belenkaya est à Paris, elle essaie d’organiser un cours en direct afin de retrouver les élèves autour d’un échiquier — loin des écrans, le temps de quelques heures.

Le 10 mai 2026, Dina a ainsi proposé une nouvelle rencontre parisienne en partenariat avec ChessBar : une masterclass collective autour des secrets de l’école d’échecs russe, suivie d’un tournoi blitz.

Les participants sont venus avec beaucoup d’énergie, de curiosité et de questions. Certains souhaitaient mieux comprendre leur jeu, d’autres simplement rencontrer Dina et partager un moment avec d’autres passionnés. L’ambiance enthousiaste nous a rappelé pourquoi ces rencontres en personne restent si importantes.

Nos cours en ligne permettent aux élèves de s’entraîner ensemble depuis le monde entier. Mais lorsque l’occasion se présente, nous sommes toujours heureux de faire vivre la communauté dans le monde réel.

When Russian Chess School Meets in Paris

Russian Chess School is now an online school, but it grew from a strong tradition of in-person chess classes and training camps.

That is why whenever Dina Belenkaya is in Paris, she tries to organize a live class and bring students together around a chessboard—away from their screens for a few hours.

On May 10, 2026, Dina hosted another special gathering in Paris in partnership with ChessBar: a group masterclass exploring the secrets of the Russian chess school, followed by a blitz tournament.

The participants arrived with plenty of energy, curiosity, and questions. Some wanted to understand their games more deeply, while others simply wanted to meet Dina and spend time with fellow chess enthusiasts. Their excitement reminded us why meeting and learning together in person remains so important.

Our online classes allow students from around the world to train together. But whenever the opportunity arises, we are always happy to bring the community together in real life.
